Nutrition Mondays

Yahoo! It's Monday!
I like to use Monday's as a day to plan my diet and workout for the rest of the week!
This week I am adding CLA supplements to my diet!

CLA can improve the lean mass to body fat ratio, decreasing fat deposition, especially on the abdomen, and enhancing muscle growth.
CLA reduces body fat by enhancing insulin sensitivity so that fatty acids and glucose can pass through muscle cell membranes and away from fat tissue. This results in an improved muscle to fat ratio.
Basically, it will assist in weight loss and muscle tone.

When you add CLA to your diet...
Most important, take CLA only if you are already doing cardio 4-5 times a week and weight training 3-5 times a week!
If you are not already working out, start Your exercise program and CLA today!
1- take it 60 min before your workout (see label to figure out dosage instructions)
2- take on an empty stomach
3- drink with ice cold lemon water, ( just squeeze a little lemon wedge in water)
4- do your cardio or weight training
5- take CLA within 15 min of finishing your exercise!

You can find it at almost every store.
What is CLA
Conjugated Linoleic Acid is a slightly altered form of linoleic acid (LA), an omega-6 fatty acid important to human health. CLA is primarily found in meat and diary products.

Of course you should also research CLA and see if it is right for you.
